Year 1 have started to take a closer look at plants this half term. We have been discussing the different parts of a plant and ventured out into our gardens to see if we could spot any leaves, stems, flowers, roots, trunks and buds on the flowering plants and trees. We were amazed at how far some of the tree roots were growing under the ground!
